This Refund Policy applies to all products and services offered by 172 Games, a brand of 172 Tech (proprietorship based in Chandigarh, India).

1. Free Games

Most of our published games (such as Chilly Snow Slopes and Trap Dungeons 2) are free to download and play. Since no payment is involved, no refund is applicable for free games.

2. Paid Games & In-App Purchases

If we offer paid games or in-app purchases in the future, refunds for these will be governed by the policies of the respective distribution platform (e.g., Google Play Store, Apple App Store). We recommend reviewing the refund policy of the platform where you made your purchase.

If you experience a technical issue with a paid product that prevents you from using it, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue or assist you with a refund through the relevant platform.

3. Game Development Services

For custom game development services (porting, full development, prototyping, consulting), refund terms are as follows:

  • Before project commencement: If you cancel before any work has begun, you are entitled to a full refund of any advance payment made.
  • During development: If you cancel after work has commenced, refunds will be calculated based on the percentage of work completed. You will be invoiced for work already delivered.
  • After delivery: Once the final deliverables have been accepted and delivered, no refunds will be issued.
  • Milestone-based projects: For projects structured around milestones, payment for completed and approved milestones is non-refundable.

Specific refund terms may be outlined in your individual project agreement or statement of work, which will take precedence over this general policy.

4. Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with our services, please contact us first. We are committed to working with you to reach a fair resolution before any formal dispute process.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us with the following details:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Description of the product or service
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant receipts or transaction references

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.
